Weaponry Insurance Arrives at NewERA

🏦 GRINGOTS — EQUIPMENT INSURANCE
We continue expanding NEW ERA with a new way to protect the most valuable pieces of your equipment.
Meet Gringots, Banker of the Last Will, a new NPC specialized in insuring weapons and armor so they can be protected after death.

🛡️ HOW DOES IT WORK?
Gringots allows you to purchase an insurance policy for a specific piece of equipment.
If you die while carrying an insured item:
- ✅ The insured item will be sent directly to your bank.
- 💰 Part of the insurance cost will reappear as gold on your corpse.
- 📜 The policy will be consumed after death unless Auto-Insurance is enabled.
The system is designed to give players an alternative when carrying valuable equipment, while still keeping death meaningful and costly.

🎒 ONE INSURANCE SLOT PER EQUIPMENT TYPE
The system separates equipment into different categories.
You can insure one item in each of the following groups:
- ⚔️ Weapon
- ⛑️ Helmet
- 🧤 Gloves
- 🛡️ Chest
- 👖 Legs
- 💪 Arms
One-handed and two-handed weapons share the same insurance slot.
Each category can hold only one insured item at a time.
💰 THE PRICE DEPENDS ON THE ITEM
Not every item costs the same to insure.
Gringots calculates the price using several factors, including:
- Weapon damage.
- Speed.
- Armor protection.
- Item quality.
- Special bonuses.
- Weapon type.
- Special or rare item category.
Items with +1 to +5 quality become progressively more expensive to insure.
Special, enhanced, indestructible or event-exclusive weapons may also have much higher insurance costs.
The goal is to make insuring truly powerful equipment a meaningful economic decision.
🔁 AUTO-INSURANCE
Every insured item can optionally enable:
AUTO-INSURANCE
If you die while this option is active:
- Gringots saves the item and sends it to your bank.
- He automatically attempts to charge a new insurance policy.
- If you have enough gold, the item remains insured.
- If you cannot afford the renewal, the item is still saved, but it becomes uninsured.
This makes it possible to keep important equipment protected without manually purchasing a new policy after every death.
💀 WHAT HAPPENS TO THE GOLD WHEN YOU DIE?
When an insurance policy saves an item after death, part of the amount paid reappears as gold on your corpse.
Currently:
40% of the policy value
is left on the body.
This preserves part of the economic risk associated with dying even when the insured item itself is saved.
✨ VISUAL IDENTIFICATION
Insured items are clearly marked.
When examining them, you will see:
Insured
making it easy to identify which pieces are currently protected.
⚠️ IMPORTANT
Insurance does not make items permanent or indestructible.
The policy protects the item on the next death and is then consumed unless it is automatically renewed.
Also:
- Cancelling a policy does not provide a refund.
- Replacing the insured item in a category removes the previous one.
- Naturally protected items do not require insurance.
- Prices can vary significantly depending on the quality and power of the item.
🏦 FIND GRINGOTS
